Drifting,
Breathing,
Pulling up too fast.
Levelling,
Wondering, "Why?"
Is it over soon? How--
Will I be caught? Now--
Is there a chance I've found
Tearing through skies and dust?
Every breath is pressurized air
This is "freedom":
the blackness, despair,
the cold, the void.
All I can hope is that I won't get caught.
No...I won't just stop.
Like a knife, cutting through night's silk,
Another breath...another thought of doubt:
What-- do I even run from?
Who--is that even the question?
Beyond knowing space time--
A glimpse, then an end unrelenting.

Inside the walls--of knowing, seeing,
Beyond passage of time's weary journey,
A steady light, snaking into being
wrapped upon existence--clutching, thinking:
"Of what is this? Why does it seethe
upon this spectrum? It coils tight.
ITS VERY HEAT, ITS VERY RHYTHM, FABRIC DEFIES
MY INTENT TO RID--MY INTENT TO EXCISE!
KNOWING NOT OF WHY, KNOWING NOT ITS NEEDS
